Workcat

Mac desktop cat app

Workcat

The cat that closes Shorts

Workcat is a Mac focus app: a cat walks across your screen, spots drift content like Shorts, Reels, and TikTok, and closes it with a paw.

Currently in preparation for release.

The cat walks across the screen, spots a playing Short, goes over, and closes it with a paw. You can drag the cat around.

How it works

The cat does exactly one thing

No notifications, no screen covering. It finds drift content and closes it.

  1. It walks your screen

The cat wanders across the desktop. It stays low so it never covers the window you are working in.

  2. It spots drift content

It recognises pre-defined targets like Shorts, Reels, and TikTok. Detection finishes inside your Mac and nothing leaves the machine.

  3. It closes with a paw

It walks over and closes the window with its front paw. No confirmation dialog, no trip to a settings screen.

Try it yourself

This is the same drawing and the same gait that ship in the app. Drag it, pet it, and change its coat.
